I strongly suggest the 4 sided diamond from harbor freight over the stone. The stone is horrible especially if you aren’t very experienced with the correct pressure and holding an angle. It’s super soft and crumbly and dishes out super fast. The diamond doesn’t last super long but it stays flat and removes material well. Definitely worth the few extra dollars

I just bought 2 Waitley 6Ah 20v batteries and 2 DeWalt 5Ah 20v batteries from Amazon. I tested each battery and while the DeWalt did indeed have Samsung 25R batteries the Waitley batteries had ZERO writing on them. Next I performed a capacity test and found the Waitleys were 3883 and 3863 mAh batteries closer to 4 Ah batteries and not the 6 Ah as advertised. The DeWalts tested at 5123 and 5092 mAh each surpassing the 5 Ah as advertised. I have both genuine Samsungs and Molicel batteries for replacing the batteries in the Waitleys when they die.

I know this is an older video and I don't know if you still want the idea, but if you wanted to get your scallops lined up, why not use an adjustable benchrest in front of your grinder? Something as simple as a barstool with a stack of dinner plates would even work. Make matching scallops on each side, then remove a plate. Make the next pair of matching scallops, remove a plate. Clearly a stack of known thickness material would be better and a purpose built adjustable benchrest would be best.
